The Serenity Practice | Freelance Communications and Marketing Manager
Overview
The Serenity Practice is a values-led space centered around breathwork, rest, and nervous system support. My role has been to develop and manage a connected communications ecosystem that reflects the tone, pace, and ethos of the practice.
Rather than focusing on rapid growth or high-volume output, the work has been grounded in building trust, clarity, and steady visibility across platforms.
The Challenge
The practice needed a communications approach that:
- Reflected its calm, relational, and human-centered ethos
- Created consistency across multiple platforms
- Supported visibility without relying on urgency or pressure
- Allowed people to engage at their own pace
My Approach
I developed a multi-channel communications ecosystem where each platform plays a clear and intentional role. Rather than treating channels as isolated, the focus was on creating a joined-up experience, where someone could move naturally between spaces depending on their needs.
Platform Strategy
Primary space for connection and storytelling
- Values-led, reflective content focused on breath, rest, and lived experience
- Content designed to feel relational, not promotional
Business Facebook
A new home for the practice’s community
- Business page built from scratch in November 2025
- Shares gatherings, events, and reflections with people who prefer Facebook to Instagram
Email Newsletter
Core relationship and trust-building channel
- Weekly, note-style emails written as reflections rather than marketing
- Built as a space for depth, not conversion
YouTube & Video
Supporting depth and presence
- Used to house and share longer-form content
Professional visibility without pressure
- Brought back to life in November 2025 after years without regular posting
- Thoughtful reflections connecting emotional and professional life
