Overview

OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation is a national organization offering spiritual development and ministry training. My role has been to lead communications across all digital platforms, shaping how the organization connects with its community.

The Challenge

When I stepped into this role, the organization needed:

  • Greater clarity and consistency across its communications
  • A stronger digital presence across platforms
  • More engagement with both current and prospective students
  • A more cohesive tone and voice across all content
My Approach

I focused on building a clear, connected communications ecosystem across:

  • Website: Restructuring content and improving clarity, accessibility, and user experience.
  • Social Media: Developing a consistent voice and creating thoughtful, values-led content across platforms.
  • Email & Newsletters: Designing and delivering campaigns that felt personal, engaging, and aligned.
  • Editorial & Long-Form Content: Creating and curating reflective, meaningful content across blogs, Substack, and Medium.
Key Projects
  • Launch and development of The OneSpirit Journal (Substack)
  • Multi-stage email campaigns for ordination and interfaith week
  • Website restructuring and content development
  • Ongoing social media growth and content strategy
Results
  • Over 1.9 million public-facing touchpoints across 2025
  • Instagram reach increased by 681%
  • Around six times the Facebook and Instagram interactions of similar charities (Meta benchmarking, September 2026)
  • YouTube watch time more than doubled
  • 33,000 active website users
  • Paid campaigns delivered 1.17 million views at £0.07 CPC

SubStack: The OneSpirit Journal (2025)

I created and manage The OneSpirit Journal, a Substack publication developed as a reflective, community-centered space for long-form writing. The journal brings together essays, reflections, and curated content exploring spirituality, interfaith dialogue, justice, creativity, and lived experience.

This project includes:

  • Developing a tone that is thoughtful, inclusive, and accessible
  • Managing publication structure and cadence
  • Writing and commissioning long-form pieces
  • Editorial direction and concept development
  • Designing, personalizing and building the publication page, shaping the layout and visual structure to reflect OneSpirit’s ethos and support a calm, readable, and welcoming experience for readers
